Re: Funny stuff found on the intrawebs ver. 2.0

Someone recently introduced me to Weapon Brown . It might take a few comics to figure out what is actually going on, but once you do, you'll realize just how awesome it is. *SPOILER ALERT* It's a post-apocalyptic wasteland, filled with characters from dozens of comic strips, starring Charlie Brown! ...

Re: What's The Last Movie You Saw?

I never really saw any of the show, but I do love the movie. I especially love the scene with the chili dog. That gets me every time.

Re: What's The Last Movie You Saw?

I saw that one a while back. It was interesting, but beyond that I'm not sure how I felt about it. Now I think I'll watch the Neverending Story. I got it on Bluray for $10! Woohoo! I mentioned how awesome it is to a coworker, and he gave me a blank stare and asked what it was.  I know...

Re: What's The Last Movie You Saw?

I saw Space Cowboys on tv, which was decent. It wasn't anything too special, but it was alright for a couple hours worth of distraction. I watched She's Out Of My League online last night. that one was also decent, but it also had an incredibly gorgeous girl in it. More importantly, it was a story a...

Historically hardcore, a fake advertising campaign for the Smithsonian. Personally, I think they should have adopted this. There's no way people could resist ads like these.

Re: Did you know?

Did you know that the Wiggles did a cover of Lou Reed's Walk on the Wild Side? They definitely changed some lyrics in order to make it more "appropriate" (I think young kids would really appreciate the original), but they still did a cover of it. That just seems strange to me, even for a g...

Re: Funny stuff found on the intrawebs ver. 2.0

Senator John Kyl stated that Planned Parenthood spent 90% of its money on abortion, when in fact abortion only constitutes about 3% of their budget. When someone called him out on this error, his office claimed that it was never meant as a factual statement. True to form, Stephen Colbert picked up t...

Re: Did you know?

Clearly blue is the winning color then. You lose when you fight in gray or red, and when you play in white. Facts be damned, that's the explanation I'm going with.

Re: What's The Last Movie You Saw?

I watched The Goods last night. Aside from Craig Robinson's character (DJ Request, who refused to play anybody's requests, and in fact played pretty much the exact opposite of whatever they wanted to hear), the movie was pretty terrible.

Re: Earworms!

As it turns out, the Whedon family announced that they were not involved in the effort, and that was apparently enough to kill it. Oh well, maybe some other time. After all, Fox has cancelled Family Guy at least twice, and Star Trek returns to tv incredibly frequently, so perhaps there's still...

Re: Earworms!

I'm really hoping the rumor about Nathan Fillion resurrecting the series is more than mere speculation. I can only imagine the fanbase has grown over the years, but I don't know what that would mean for resurrecting the show. Were pray tell, did you hear such a delicious rumour? Not that I think it...

Re: Funny stuff found on the intrawebs ver. 2.0

A friend posted this on Facebook, and it's so brilliant I simply had to post it here as well. If only more people defended teachers as passionately as this guy, the teachers might actually get the pay and respect they so rightly deserve.

Having a bad day? Watch Christopher Walken cover Pokerface. That ought to cheer you right up.

No? Well then, how about a great poem by Anis Mojgani?

Even on the worst of days, these two videos seem to make the world a bit brighter.

Re: What's The Last Movie You Saw?

I just watched 127 hours, which was good. The guy hiked out of the Grand Canyon, dehydrated, malnourished, extremely fatigued, and missing an arm. Samuel L. Jackson should be taking BAMF lessons from him. I also watched Hellraiser, which I had managed to not see up until now. I wish it had stayed th...

....I...no, but...it doesn't...why....Ah, screw it. I know this Cracked article is dated the 4th, but I'm choosing to believ it's an April Fools prank. Otherwise it'd just be too depressing.
