I've read the first Dark Tower. But personally I think Hugh the Hand, and Drizzt are better main characters. Just my opinion though. Hugh the Hand is great too... I think I liked Haplo better though. (because he's tattooed and has a dog :) ) Drizzt is okay too, but Jarlaxe is my favourite Salvatore...

Woo! Go DT readers! Roland is one of my favourite characters in any book I've read. It's always fun to tell people that they have forgotten the face of their father, and must be sent west... and then watch the confusion dawn on their face...
