Re: Another Pastafarian in the Area!?!

If Didsbury is tiny, what does that make Norridgewock? I looked at them both on Google Earth, and you could drop downtown Norridgewock into Didsbury and shake it around like dice in a cage. Make sure you're comparing your town to Didsbury, Alberta, Canada, not the Didsbury in Manchester, Eng...

Re: What's The Last Movie You Saw?

I never thought of it in terms of 'Film Star' and 'Actor'. But now that I do, I think you're right. The thing is though, Cage seems to have jumped straight to Film Star without ever acting. Shouldn't there be a progression? Jack Nicolson is the ultimate example of that type of performer, and I have ...

Re: What's The Last Movie You Saw?

Saw 'Next' with Nicolas Cage and Jessica Biel last night. It was another good movie made average by Nick. Biel was fair, and the special effects were poor by even decade old standards. The best thing about the movie is the neat idea that he can see into the future, but only regarding himself and onl...

Another Pastafarian in the Area!?!

In the last couple of years I have only seen a handfull of FSM logos on vehicles while driving around Calgary. But today I saw something wonderful... a huge hand painted FSM logo on someone's back window. I was out in the country heading home to Didsbury (tiny town 50 miles north of Calgary) and saw...

Re: Oh dear...

I like to think that religious people can be saved from their religion, so if I am approached and have time, I do like to try and save them. They were coming to try and save me, so I return the compliment. Jehovah's Witnesses are the usual ones who need saving. I can't help but feel a little sorry ...

YYYYYAAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!

This mangy GA won't print properly. :furious:

These here Autocad viewports are a mutinous lot. I gives 'em more chance, and if they don't cooperate, they walk the plank (I'm sure the client will understand.)

Re: What are you reading right now?

Just started a very unsciency book. Back in the 80's I was a total fantasy fiend. In Chapters last night I was stolling down memory lane in the fantasy section and saw how many Shannara books by Terry Brooks there are now. I'm way way behind the curve and would need to spend a couple hundred dollars...

Re: What's The Last Movie You Saw?

Last week I visited a friend that I haven't seen in a few years. He has most movies made in the last two decades on his shelves, and since I almost never watch movies, he was eager to show me some that he thought I needed to see. First was Rambo IV. The blood spilled could fill a swimming pool. It h...

Re: Venganza People Google Map

TS, Corax was actually saying that he wasn't worried, I made a Monty Python reference, and it kinda snowballed from there. There I go acting all blonde again! Sorry Corax. No sweat. It gets kinda mixed-up back there. I was, like Edd said, not worried in the least that someone would track...

Re: Venganza People Google Map

Regarding the safety factor, if someone wanted to locate anyones house on a map, they can do it regardless of whether there's a thing pointing at it on a map of FSM devotees or not. I don't believe for a second that a religious kook will research on here to find you and exact Bible sanctioned, righ...

Re: Venganza People Google Map

By the looks of it there's no one within a long days drive of me. I stuck the pointer right at my doorstep, so feel free to stop in if you're in the area. Coffee's usually on, and the junk food cupboard is never in danger of becoming even half empty. Regarding the safety factor, if someone wanted to...

Didsbury is only 40 minutes south of Red Deer, so we're practically neighbours.
