I think, Qwerty, that you may have missed a key point - meat pies and fruit pies came into existence at about the same time *. Pies didn't get invented, taken to the US, and then, in 1920-something, someone said - Hey!! Let's try putting meat in!! Doesn't work like that. For us, a pie is a pie. Seem...

If you get anything less than an A, it's a travesty. ;)

Though I don't think it's quite what the teacher will be expecting... have you enlightened her/him about the FSM? :fsm_rock:

"On Top of Spaghetti"

The other day I remembered this song, and had to share it with you. It's to the tune of 'On top of Old Smokey' which some of you might know. Anyway, I only remembered two verses, so I looked it up on Google - this page came up. I think you can download it as a song at the bottom. :D Anyway, here's t...

The real FSM (bear with me)

OK... so, I've read the FAQ and the Creed and everything else twice through, because I get the idea you guys don't like answering questions that have already been asked. SO, if this question's answered already, I hope I won't get worse than a light reprimand and a link... hopefully, though, it hasn'...

Why, thank you! I knew the phrase 'nisi dominus frustra', so I tried to find 'spaghetti' or 'pasta' but they weren't there. I think meatballs has its own charm, though... literally it's 'balls of meat'.

:D Wonderful! Well, then, instead I shall simply thank His Holiness for his unending tolerance of our different eating preferences.

I forgot to say - I was brought up as an anglican (loosely) so it is a real relief to find the FSM at last. :fsm_rock:
