I had to read this book in high school. It was the first of its kind for me, and I couldn't wrap my head around some of the existentialist concepts in it. I think I'll pick up a copy and give it another go.

I agree with Duke. The Stand is possibly the best book I've ever read.

A lot of people love Dean Koontz. He's kind of a knockoff Stephen King in my opinion, but I'll admit that From the Corner of His Eye is really a masterpiece.
