lol moss. No, it's the smoke (as in from fire) interacting with the meat as opposed to liquid chemical smoke that is more common these days. Fire smoke be the way our Pirate forefathers use to do it.

Re: BACON!!!

I know, old thread, shouldn't resurrect a dead thread like this, but I wanted to tell someone that I've learned to make my own bacon this year and it's easy and makes all regular bacon seem like an empty imitation of what bacon should be. http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-bRcwq7cIzJg/USEs1jdwp3I/AAAAAAAAF9c...

Brewing and the Whole Wheat Pastafarian

As beer is a vital part of being a Pastafarian, I would argue that brewing our own beer (as in making our own pasta) is considered an act of devotion. So how does a Whole Wheat Pastafarian go about learning to brew beer? I already make cider (what the people in the US call Hard Cider, but the rest o...

B&W image - seeking his noodleness

Hi all, I'm seeking some black and white images of the FSM for an art project I'm working on. It will be incorporated into a larger image and used for my own purposes only (aka, not for resale). It has to be black and white, not grey scale as it will be etched on brass. I know I can alter the chroma...

Re: What happens when people actually start believing in FSM

A thought just occurred to me. What would happen if someone came to this site, and thought "that looks good" and actually starts genuinely believing in all of this? If people can believe in any other religion, then it's not too much of a leap of faith to think people could actually believ...

Re: Attention All Gamers.

What's steam like? Is it free-to-play? I'm totally skint seeing as I spent all my money on beer and pasta.

Re: Attention All Gamers.

I started a FSM alliance over on Shadowlands, if anyone wants to join. It's a fairly new game. http://www.kongregate.com/games/zqgame/shadowland-online

edit: I couldn't find a spaghetti logo, so I used the skull and cross bones. Hope that's okay.

Re: The New Convert Thread - MAKE YOUR FIRST POST HERE

A *philosopher*, eh? Well, I'll ask daftbeaker, but I don't think he will be very keen. Uh, he's already got one, you see... That's okay. I don't do much philosophising these days - unless it is to ask why did the chicken cross the farmyard. But then I start to wonder... chickens love eating worms....

Re: Japanese food and Bento Fun

I adore onigiri. I actually just finished making a bunch of this stuff for onigiri filling. It's basically pickled Kelp but tastes way better than advertised. You have some great ideas for fillings. Thanks for sharing. Do you need to keep some of those filings in the fridge (like the salmon and crea...

Thank you guys.

I think I might make a special occasion tomorrow and hand make some pasta. It's been years since I've done that.

Japanese food and Bento Fun

I am in love with Japanese food. I admit it. I love the large variety of vegetables they serve with every meal. Tasty meats and fish, and rice... oh lovely rice. yum. Especially fond of Bento style cooking. This is you Japanese version of a packed lunch, only I don't just cook bento style for eating...

Re: Can I build a Church?

That would be great to build a church for Pastafarians in my area since I am a Rev. now. Can I do that? If I can't make it an official church, could I just build a little hang out and call it something like "United Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster" or "United Church of Pastafar...

Re: What are you EATING right now?

Currently trying out a new brand of No MSG, Non-Fried instant noodles, Vegetarian Curry flavor. No MSG? Is it soy free too? If so, where does one find this unusual pasta? As for what I'm eating right now, tonight is leftover rice fried with Kimchi and a side of Japanese vegetables ( carrot kinpira ...
