Re: Did you hear who died?

May I extend my condolences towards the friends and family of two great people:- The first is Sir Patrick Moore , pioneer astronomer who has graced our screens for the last 50-odd years in The Sky At Night . I'm sure the show will continue in his permanent absence, but it will be less without this w...

Re: What are you reading right now?

I've started reading J K Rowling's first book for adults, A Casual Vacancy . It's certainly more colourful in its language than her previous offerings, and shows her as someone who can belt out an instant classic. Much recommended. I'm stuck on p.53. Whatever I try, I can't get beyond it. When does...

Re: The Video Games Thread

I did get married to the woman who asks you to find her a mammoth tusk. It's bad, as I can't remember her name, but she is usually found hanging out in Whiterun. I play a woman by the way. Nicely subtle way to introduce inclusivity to gaming, although my wife disturbs me somewhat. Whenever I go home...

The trailer is intriguing. Talking to a friend, we were thinking that Benedict could play a villain from the TOS, Gary Mitchell. He was a Starfleet officer with psychic powers gone wrong. I cannot wait!

Re: Venganza People Google Map

Yeah, Galicia is quite cold and wet. I was last there in a December, but I still enjoyed it. That journey driving the entire north coast and back introduced me to lots of rain and high winds. Nice. :haha:

Re: The Video Games Thread

Well, it's been a while, but I achieved my Platinum trophy in Skyrim , went back to Little Big Planet to get the Platinum in that one as well, started playing Borderlands (love what i've seen so far), but decided to Platinum Little Big Planet 2 instead. I still have a way to go in that one, as i've ...
