Re: The Video Games Thread

Well, one of my friends got membership, and I got jelous, and subscribed myself. It's really hard to go back to being a free player once you've been a member. (Not physicaly, unsubscribing's not hard, it's just that you get kinda spoiled on the members stuff, and it's tricky to get usedd to not hav...

Does anyone play Armies of Gielinor or Runescape? Me. http://services.runescape.com/m=avatar-rs/Revenge10111/full.gif Not so much for armies of Gielinor, I'm more of an Arcanists girl. Less tactics, more explosions. Will you play a game with me sometime? Of Armies, that is? It's hard to find good p...

Re: What are you reading right now?

So I finished A Game of Thrones. It is seriously the most incredibly warped fantasy novel I have ever read, and I loved every frakking moment of it. My insides are tearing themselves apart with anticipation for the next one. A cursory glance of a couple of Wikipedia pages and writing analysese promi...

Re: What are you reading right now?

I actually just started "A Game of Thrones", which I picked up near Christmas because I remembered that Cap recommended it. It seems good so far. Much to my dismay, I am finding myself falling in love with this book much the same way I have, in the past, fallen in love with such books as ...

Re: What are you reading right now?

Or you could not. :P Self-control, Zank, self control. Especially if it has anything to do with giving Christopher Paolini money. On the topic of Heart of Darkness, I finished it Tuesday, and watched Apocalypse Now over the past two days. That puts me in an interesting frame of mind. Era...

WOO I WIN.

I have a round face that I show to thee
And arms that move about me.
I've a belt which I myself do not wear,
and a penchant to talk for hours without air.

What in the world am I?

Such a feat is physically impossible.

Is there a trick to this, or is it a straightforward logic puzzle?

Re: Logic, IQ, and Lateral Thinking Problems.

ok heres my riddle a plane in world war 2 goes on a bombing run. the plane is in perfect shape and it has bombs in it. it opens the bombbay doors and the bombs did not fall out. Why is that? Assuming that the answer doesn't lie in a grammatical error, it must be because it's still on the ground? or...
