Does anyone else get the impression that elijah has been watching just a little too much Monty Python recently:

Help, Help! I'm being repressed!

It seems people spend waaaay too much time getting offended about the silliest things these days.

Anyone else read Jasper Fforde?

I'm a big fan of Jasper Fforde - he writes 2 series of books - the Thursday Next series and the Jack Spratt series. I highly recommend them - think comedy, action, crime fiction, science fiction and a health dollop of pop culture and literary references all blended together. Bloomin' marvellous (and...

Question - how do we know His Noodliness the FSM wasn't pretending to be the scrin in His own whimsical manner?

It would explain why our friend 4th Scrin has found his way here to our community. Perhaps he has been touched by a Noodly Appendage and felt strangely drawn to all things pasta?

Unlike in the US, the secondary curriculum is set centrally by the Government, so writing to a school's headmaster or even to your Local Education Authority wouldn't have muche effect. I would suggest therefore sending your letter to the Department for Education and Skills, requesting Flying Spaghet...

Question - considering Flying Spaghetti Monsterism is a global religion, what relevence does the US Contitution have at all, especially to the many of us who are not American? Initiation ceremony

Seeing the Beeb has us do a Pastafarian initiation ceremony yesterday for the cameras, and there was much discussion about: a) what we should do, and b) what it all meant, perhaps some consensus should be reached about what we do and why (seeing we were making it up as we went along really). My thou...

Seriously though, if its cooked properly, it's quite nice. You can make some lovely pasta sauces with it in.

Theological question

A dear friend of mine is aldehyde dehydrogenase deficient - in other words she is allergic to alcohol. She would like to know therefore - in Pastafarian heaven, are there any other beverages other than beer? She would be particularly happy if there was a fountain that gushed tea, as she is particula...

It helps to have a pirate name in case the inquisition/revenue come looking for you. The Spanish Inquisition is already here in the form of me... but seeing I'm a Pastafarian as well, you're not going to be poked with soft cushions quite yet (unless that's your sort of thing obviously) I'm not pick...
