Oh, BTW, how do I find the spacing on that? And if it's not too much to ask, do you have one that's 102 columns by 50 rows? That's just awesome. How do you plan it all out? First: to be honest I didn't make that. I don't have my computer (using my mom's laptop on the down-low), I just knew where to...

An ASCII contest you say? Since it's not in Rant, Rave, and Misbehave, I'll keep it SFWish. Note: the 'm's are to make sure the screen is wide enough for the pic, it adds the annoyance of a scroll bar, but doesn't mess up the image. I'll try to keep it as small as possible so the scroll bar doesn't ...

Currently reading Language and the Internet , by David Crystal. It's a great read, although even though I have the second version (published '06, just updating the one published in 2000), it sounds very notably dated in some areas. Even so, it has some good insights into how language is being used o...

Going into classrooms handing out religious literature is going a bit far.

A priest from a local church would sometimes come by our school, stand on the corner and distribute pocket bibles to the kids. I don't think they ever even let them on school property, or at least not very deep into it.

How can you make 30p with 2 coins if one of them isn't a 20p?

I don't know your British currency but I'll assume 20p and 10p.

Similar one for US currency, 2 coins make 30 cents, one of them isn't a nickel.

The answer is:

A quarter and a nickel.

Yea, I have too many to link, but those three are tops. Also Dr. McNinja is badass.
