True Believers
I have followed the FSM for some time and I even have a copy of the Gospels of the FSM. The reason for my post though is I have a challenge from another forum. A member there says he can detect if someone truly believes in the FSM. If anyone is interested, reply and let me know and I will start a thread there and provide the URL.

Re: True Believers
What sort of website is it? That might make a difference in whether it would be fun to go over there. If it's a Fundy one, no thanks, I have no taste for hanging around with a group like that. As for the FSM (pbuh), I'm a "True Believer" that He is as real and provable as all those other religions out there. But a lot more fun. And that's it.

It's a site that primarily focuses on and advocates the separation of church and state. It's www.restorethepledge.com and regards Mike Newdow's efforts to remove "under God" from the pledge.

Deep breaths, Rob. Nice and slow, that's it.
I think I'll just spectate at this one. Maybe get some popcorn. A hotdog?

As a preist said to me once when I was giving him directions and told him to go straight down the road: "they've been trying to get me to go straight for YEARS."

Re: True Believers
I can spot a "true christian" a mile off. The smug look of supreme arrogance usually gives 'em away....

Re: True Believers
You can spot the Mormons by the way they walk. All that "magic underwear" probably gets hot in the summer....

Re: True Believers
You can spot a Mormon because no normal twenty-something male is up and about in a suit before 8am on a Sunday.
Scratch that, no self-respecting twenty-something is up and about in anything bar a bathrobe before noon-ish on a Sunday and is usually nursing a hangover and wondering who might be the other person in their bed...

I think that it was George Carlin who wrote in When Will Jesus Bring the Porkchops "A proper warning label on alcoholic beverages would be 'Warning! If you drink enough of this product you will eventually utter the phrase Who are all of you people and where are my clothes?' "
