FSM and the Northshore Inline Marathon

Postby Mock26 » Sat Sep 23, 2006 1:34 pm

I normally don't like to pat myself on the back, but on September 16, 2006, I completed the Northshore Inline Marathon up in Duluth, MN. It was my first ever inline marathon and my time of 2:00:27 was 30 minutes better than my goal of 2:30:00! Of course, I think that my success and better time can be partially attributed to the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Don't believe me? Just check out my shirt in the below pic.

Take care and have a great day....

True terror lies in the futility of human existence.

Malcolm Reynolds is my co-pilot.

"The only freedom deserving the name, is that of pursuing our own good in our own way, so long as we do not attempt to deprive others of theirs, or impede their efforts to obtain it. Each is the proper guardian of his own health, whether bodily, or mental and spiritual. Mankind are greater gainers by suffering each other to live as seems good to themselves, than by compelling each to live as seems good to the rest." - John Stuart Mill

Nice photo, and congratulations on the marathon time. And welcome.

Dang, I wish I had an FSM shirt to wear - I'm doing the Race for the Cure (for breast cancer) tomorrow.
