Yaaar, be there unbelievin' infidels 'ere?

Actually, I'm curious more about why there seems to be this giant mental block to humans conceptualizing these things more than I'm curious as to god's actual existence.

Could his presence in our minds be genetically programmed? Is he in actuality merely an extension of our psyches?

p.s. haha, lol, randomsam was my old youtube account...

A lot of Christian's I know don't really believe in God, so when I said I believed in a Flying Spaghetti Monster I got a lot of odd looks :)

Same to me, I prefer actual science to be taught in science lessons. Although FSMism would rock.

I have a tough time between playing it absolutely straight with people (keeping up the satire) and explaining the point to them......The original letter was that near perfect balance between the two.

Usually, with the hardcore Creationists, I play it straight and tell them to stop worshipping their false idol, and with the more liberal thinking, I give them the no bad science in classroom explanation. depends on how open my audience seems.

It's all meant as a joke, don't you see? :worship: It's suppose to make people think about the things they believe, and why they believe them. Nothing more.

OK The Question Is, Do You Really Believe In The FSM?
And Please Answer Truthfully

Ill Add A Poll. But Please Don't Just Answer The Poll, Post Too :D

18 people are pretty awesome pirates. i have to be honest. i don't really believe in the flying spaghetti monster but i agree with what He stands for. i agree with what pastafarianism can become. belief isn't a part of our religion. it honestly surprises me that there are 18 people who truly believe. that's awesome.

The question is worded in a strange way and so I voted "I don't want to tell you."

The reason is that when he shows himself to me... he sort of "hovers" more than he "flies". I don't know...
Maybe I believe in "HSM" more than "FSM"...

I'm very conflicted right now...

I need to drink on this... :drinking:
