FSM and Politics

Postby halo6987 » Mon Jan 14, 2008 11:02 pm

I apologize now if this topic has already been address since this is my first post. I was curious, who if any politician would receive the endorsement of FSM? :fsm_rock:

According to the CotFSM website poll it seems to be Barack Obama by a landslide.

Wow, well I guess Obama is clearly supported by the Church of FSM but do any of the candidates embody the principals of FSM? Which candidate would help out the FSM cause the most?

For the Democrats, I'd say John Edwards. He's a lawyer, and would gladly argue for FSMism being taught in schools alongside ID.

For the Republicans, Ron Paul. He's a creationist, so would be open to allowing alternative theories to the classroom. Because he's a constitutionalist and the 1st amendment says the preferred state religion, he'd have to allow FSMism as well as Christianity.

Big politicians matter not to the FSM. He's far too involved making sure local school board elections go his way.....

Sadly, everytime we seem to get a group who seems willing to champion our cause, they back down, so as to not be associated with us.

Do we really reek that bad? Should we cut down on the garlic in the sauce, just a bit?

Oddly enough, that's good advice for us.
Have you seen Serenity around? I keep losing it. It's about *this* big, has a big yellow spinning bit on the back, two shuttles, and two engines on the side.

Was that the main buffer panel?

Not sure from where you derive that. Obama is a black, well-spoken, prone-to-smile politician, whereas Damien is, ya know, Satan.

Oh Damien was well spoken and prone to smile too, not something I can define but I just get a strong gut feeling when I see him on the TV that Obama IS the Antipasti

Nope, just lots of laughter. That has to be the perfect word to describe and evil part of pastafarianism.

So then I take it that the Antipasta is Dr. Atkins.
