fsm poetry?
has anyone used any of the non rhyming, non musical poetic forms (haiku, diamonte, etc.) to honor the noodly one?
i think that it would be cool to assemble a book of fsm poetry. i have a few haikus:
Your Noodly Grace:
Flying Spaghetti Monster
Shed on us your sauce

Wow, Flying Spaghetti Monster is exactly 7 syllables. That opens up amazing possiblities...
unfortutately, the only Haiku I can think of right now isn't very Pastafarian.
Wrestlemania,
Wrestlemania, oh boy,
Wrestlemania.
But yeah, we tend to focus on Pslams and Songs around here. We could do with a few Haikus and odd poetry!

Funny, I pronounce both 'new' and 'nude' as if they start with 'ny',
but not 'noodle' or 'noodly' which I pronounce 'nood-ul' and 'nood-lee'.
Approximate pronunciations, of course!
Edited to add: I thought that haiku had to be about the seasons.

Well, that depends on how strictly you want to adhere to the traditional guidelines. The wikipedia article is very informative.
Re: fsm poetry?
generally, a poem is considered haiku if it follows the 5-7-5 syllable format.

For example...
The Vodka...
It brings me closer
To his noodly goodness.
No, wait. That don't work. It's hard to make a Pastafarian haiku after three glasses of vodka.

Re: fsm poetry?
that wasnt haiku either he did 3-5-7, you did 5-5-7, but it's supposed to be 5-7-5, like this:
vodka enlightens
helps me find my god
The noodly one

The noodly one
