The contents of his diaper could pass for chocolate milk in a photo.

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

I'm not sure if I want to know how you know that.

BEER! BEER! NOT DIAPERS!

Anyway, I am just back from Fairport Convention's Cropredy Festival. Again. Once again they had their own Cropredy Hop ale, a young, hoppy ale a bit like an IPA but not as mature, if that makes sense? ' A session beer' - there is a phrase that tells you where it is pitched. Moreish, is what I'd call it.

Because it was their 50th Anniversary, they also had the Fairport 50 Ale, which was less hoppy, less IPA-like, less drinkable... OK, it was crap. There, I said it.

The Cropredy Hop could be a guest ale in any real ale pub, seriously, it is lovely. Fairport 50? No. Mid-life crisis beer. Please stop it.

Ok I have a beer question:

I have a sweet tooth and I often smell beer and think "That smells nice!" but if I get to try a bit it's not as sweet as I was expecting.

So my question is this: Is there such a thing as a sweet beer? Or would that be crap and gross?

Yes, it would be gross, or yes, such a beer exists?

Or

Yes, it exists AND it's gross?

If you like sweet things, try a fruit beer: Framboise is one I like - a raspberry beer, Kriek - a cherry beer, there are blueberry beers and all sorts out there. Give it a go - beer doesn't have to be bitter.
