This is your life from the fight club soundtrack. Not at all depressing :idiot:
Too old to give up but too young to rest - Pete Townshend

I would rather be a rising ape than a falling angel - Sir Terry Pratchett

I liked his explanation about what brought him to chemistry as much as the video itself - pieces o'nine

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

Your name sure fits you. If you can listen to Yanni's music and not find at least one song you like, you just aren't human. :furious:

Your name sure fits you. If you can listen to Yawni's music and find at least one song that isn't indistinguishable from all his other songs, you win the Grand Prize - other music. :furious:

In between checking in here I have finally finished marking a set of books. This was what I was listening to at the end.

The Offspring had a certain knack for semi-depressing but upbeat sounding songs. Way Down the Line and The Kids Aren't Alright are good examples too. Still not touching the Jam and When You're Young for full on poetic, loss of youth angst (and probably the best written lyrics I've ever heard).

I got this stuck in my head a while back. It doesn't have words, obviously, so I had to learn the whole tune to get it out of my head.
I forgot the tune, and it's back. Great soundtrack, though.
