Then you know what to buy first...

After that, get mgs4...

then assassin's creed...

AAAAGH!

All ready got MGS4...just waiting to get in the mood to play it. (I hope it hasn't got as many lengthy cut scenes as the earlier games).

Convinced yet?

Just finished Modern Warfare 2, and realized something. Modern Warfare and Call of Duty really are two completely different series. If the Call of Duty games are Saving Private Ryan, Modern Warfare is something that might come about if you mixed Tom Clancy and John Woo. That is to say, not terribly realistic, and not exactly high art. Were it a food, it would be fast food: Not nutritious, but still damned tasty.

The souls can wait... For so long...

And does anyone still play ODST? I love that game.

You know, I love me a good adventure game. So when I saw Broken Sword: The Sleeping Dragon at Big Lots for $6.00, I snapped it up. Well, I'm here to tell you, :furious: Broken Sword! :furious: it hard! Friggin' game won't even bloody launch. Godammit.

Legend of zelda, the phantom hour glass. I just beat a boss there that made me want to kill someone at nintendo. You control both link and some random villager kid. You can only control one at a time. They are both under attack by snakey things, they don't defend themselves while you control the other.
Link is stuck across a river of quick sand from the boss. Meanwhile villager kid has to fight the huge armored fire breatheing lizard by waiting untill it charges and moving at the last minute so it runs into a wall. Then imediately attacking it's side repeatedly. If you don't react fast enough it'll start attacking again and you'll have to wait untill it's next charge. If you can hit it enough it falls over, and is imoble for a few seconds in which link has to get a bombchu into it's mouth which will explode. You must repeat all of this three times to get the boss down. Then a bridge apears across the quick sand and the kid leaves through the door on his side. But wait there's more!
Once link crosses the bridge to follow him the boss wakes up, and you have to fight him, again! Slightly differently! There is some healing available in the room. But it's limited and if you use it all before the second half of the fight, you're screwed. If you die during the second half you have to fight the lizard's first form, again! And then you get to retry the second! No this isn't needlessly tedious at all, why do you ask?

I just got the Specialist achievement in TF2. Its awarded for getting 10,000 heal points in one life as a Medic.

I have also developed a burning hatred for Spies. Bearing in mind Medics are everyone's priority target anyway so I'm already fairly paranoid. Then some arsehole that can't play a proper class pops up behind (while invisible), stabs me in the back and runs away :furious:

Isn't that the motto of Zelda anyway? "Oh noble warrior, go fetch me some chickens or some shit, I don't care. You get a lamp maybe?"

Bought Fallout 3 and Fable the other day. Fallout 3 is pretty engrossing. I finished the game, but then realise that it doesn't continue afterwards, so I fixed that with a mod. It's made by the same folks as Oblivion, so it's practically the same game but with guns. It's also super-moddable.

I bought Fable because I played it a few years ago and loved it, and found it for half price!

So yeah, I went and got a blog.

I recommend acquiring the downloadable content. Broken Steel raises the level cap to 30 and fixes the 'ending at the main story' thing by extending the story.

I think your internet connection's pretty rubbish (I'm sure you've mentioned it) but you can get them all quite cheaply over here. The Game of the Year edition has all the DLC for about 15 quid on amazon.

Valve have had a good idea. TF2's Soldier and Demoman are getting an update and new weapons but whichever gets the most kills get an extra weapon. The map I was just playing was an explosion spamfest :haha:

Use Toad or a Koopa with the bullet bike. Unlock the one that looks like a sports bike (Magicruiser?), then use that. Slide close round corners and wheelie on every straight. Easy

You should have a Koopa and the bullet bike from the start :moon:

Oh, don't use the 'steering wheel' controls, they're pants. Not that I wasted my second year of Uni having Mario Kart competitions with my housemates or anything

I tried Koopa...kept sliding off the track. My best bet seems to be King Boo.

Grand Turismo is easy compared to this!
