Sorry Zanny, but most of the time things like that get said it's just personality quirks given a fancy name of the disease du jour. If even a % of the people had things like OCD and ADHD as think they have them, they'd be more common than colds. I'm more than a little disgusted by the frequency things get diagnosed because they are popular conditions. Everything from Carpal Tunnel to Restless legs to who knows how many other syndromes people just suddenly have in record numbers because they make the news or are featured in some movie etc.

OCD is a very real problem, it's not a habit of saying things without looking at them from all angles, and it doesn't come in "mild" flavor.
I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

I've never actually been diagnosed with OCD, nor do I actually think i have any symptoms which actually qualify me for the disorder.

I just tend to be obsessive, and compulsive. I didn't have tme to explain the intricacies of my personaliy quirks, so I went with a simple explanation that everyone would understand.

if you'd like, I could go over them all, though.

Figured it was something like that. For someone who's such a grammar Nazi tho, you'd think you'd be more of a definition Nazi. :D

Oh, I am. The ability to change my opinion and eccentricities, seemingly at random, is one of my personality quirks.

I do have ADHD, actually. When I'm not drugged down, I bounce of the walls and jump from topic to topic, and get into fistfights. Hell, I do that when I am on the drugs.

Fortunately, my worldview isn't altered by the medication.

See there? Immediately 2 people claim ADD. Just how much medication (type and milligrams) are being prescribed for you two, out of curiosity?

60 mg Strattera, daily. I've been significantly better behaved and more attentive since I began taking it.

I'd never heard of Strattera back when I was a kid and they were pumping me full of those drugs. (They kept upping the doses on me) I went from Ritalin to Cylert. Back then they just called it hyperactivity, none of the fancy letters they use now.

I did find this little gem on wiki tho:

A significant minority of adult male patients taking Strattera suffer minor to severe sexual side effects, including erectile dysfunction, retrograde ejaculation, painful orgasm, and the decoupling of orgasm from ejaculation, wherein ejaculation takes place up to ten seconds before or after orgasm.

Good luck with that :D

I don't have a problem with that. I'm not an adult, though.

Well, it's helped me significantly.

Listen, I need to buy some of that medication off of you. Three or four doses should be enough. PM me. Money is no object.

Good think I take Concerta instead.

Concerta made me depressed and caused me to gain a significant amount of weight.

Bleh. Strattera ftw.

Meh. It did the opposite for me, but I was still pissed.

I think I'll find a new one.

Finally watched Live Free or Die Hard

Yipee Ki Yay!
If only it were all so simple! If only there were evil people somewhere committing evil deeds, an it were necessary only to separate them from the rest of us and destroy them. But the line dividing good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being. And who is willing to destroy a piece of his own heart?
