I am thinking of chewing, so maybe that's the connection they're trying to make.

The problem is that those are incredibly subjective terms. What one person considers making love might be fucking to you, and what you consider making love might be fucking to someone else.

There's no way to explain it completely objectively. Since I fail at explanations, and this will only lead in circles, here's a rather good excerpt instead.

Wikipedia wrote:Distinction is often made between erotica and pornography (the depiction of acts in a sensational manner so as to arouse a quick intense emotional reaction)(as well as the lesser known genre of sexual entertainment, ribaldry), although depending on the viewer they may seem one and the same. Pornography's objective is the graphic depiction of sexually explicit scenes.[2] Pornography is often described as exploitative or degrading.[2][3] One person's pornography is another's erotica, and vice-versa. In other words, if a politician or priest finds a work containing only consenting adults "perverted", then it says more about the mental state of the accuser than the intentions of the photographer or viewer. [4] The dictionary also uses different emotive words to describe the same product. Erotica is "Explicitly sexual literature or art, concerning or arousing sexual pleasure." Pornography is "Writings, pictures, films etc. designed to stimulate sexual excitement." Even the dictionary's authors couldn't avoid bringing emotion into their definitions. Erotica is described using the gentle word "arousing" whereas pornography gets the "stimulate", a much colder, clinical definition.[5]

i watched "Big Fish" last night. it wasnt quite what i expected, but i did enjoy it. rate it? i would have to say seven out of ten. there were some disjointed scenes that were hard to follow, and some of the acting was a bit shallow. however, it starts with five, just because it was a Tim Burton film, and because it was all about fantasy.

I wouldn't say it's quite garbage, but it was certainly not as good as the other 2. They tried to put too much into it. Sandman, Venom and Harry? Just too many villains and too much story to cram into one movie.

Really, Sam Raimi, Topher Grace?

Sure he's a great comic, but as VENOM?

Sorry to anyone who liked the third one, but you have to admit that the "snowboard glider" thing (just to name one) was just plain bad.

I watched Desperately Seeking Susan last night. Not impressed. While I appreciate the style of the movie, I thought the plot was just another "Pretty little rich girl becomes entranced by the great unwashed and decides to slum it for a while" flick for pretty little rich girls. It's as condescending as the idea of the "The Noble Savage", that we are somehow more pure or less corrupt since we make less than $100,000 a year. It was mildly amusing, though.

People still watch that?!? I thought that each and every copy would have been destroyed in "The Great 80's Purge". Looks like the 80's fashions are poised to make a comeback though.....

I see ripped jeans are already back all over my school.

Funny I have also been watching a couple 80's movies this week, starting with The Breakfast Club.

The gf's at a bachelorette party all day today that has an 80's theme. She's sporting the whole ripped lace Madonna thing. She's also got the huge bangs and side-ponytail going!
