I'm about to go see Dark Knight again with somebody else.

time to look for foreshadowing and irony. :D

I already caught quite a few the first time around, but I really want to watch the joker again.

I doubt it. Dark Knight Returns was much later than I suspect his one is. You know, after Batman's like fifty-five.

In no way. Batman begins took some themes from Miller's Batman: Year One (My all-time favorite graphic novel) but Dark Knight is very original. The closest thematic story I can think of to Dark Knight woulf be Alan Moore's The Killing Joke. that's just theme, not content, however.

Really? I'm not a big Batman fan, but I loved Killing Joke. Now I really want to see it.

It's that level of dark, with that level of serious Joker.

The Dark Knight.

Let me just say, that I was exceptionally pleased (I mean absolutely awestruck) by Heath Ledger's acting. As for the rest of the movie... Brilliant, just plain brilliant. That little speech at the end was awesome too.

To top things off, I saw it at the biggest screen in the southern hemisphere. Blew my freakin' mind.

So yeah, I went and got a blog.

I saw The Dark Knight Friday night. Didn't plan on it but I was wondering if it was going to be sold out again this past weekend, and it wasn't so I decided to see it.

Holy crap.

I was on a Batman high all weekend and I need to see that movie at least 20 more times. It's not gonna happen but there's no way I'm going to let myself not see it more than once in theaters.

(This is where the normally thoughtful, sometimes drunken, text that I usually write would go. As is, all I can do is sputter in stunned silence, and drool the drool of an overly excited geek.)

Cellphone capture of the teaser for TR2N, aka, TRON 2 from the San Diego ComicCon. I'm sure it's still out there somewhere, and yea, Jeff Bridges is in it.

I'm still all shivery.

I just saw the X-Files movie. While I agree with the general reviews that it was pretty much of the quality of a mediocre standalone episode as far as plot goes, being a HUGE fan of the show, I was very content with it. I saw Chris Carter in it, counted five people who had been guest stars in various episodes of the show, got the full-on Chris Carter vibe (not many people shoot the way he does, and it was nice to see it again), plus the creepy Mark Snow music, and my sufficiently cheesy un-resolution for the main characters.

Sadly, I can say it was a sufficient wrap-up to the saga, sad because it means there will be no great demand for it's continuation. The X-Files are officially closed. :worship:

I saw Hancock. It was really good. I laughed my ass off, but I'm also easily amused.
