OK granted "pooface" is always a classic (and brilliant I might add) aggressive comeback, but it is missing the passive element. Now, perhaps if you were to say........."really appreciated your last comment, it must have been a bit difficult to deliver so eloquently with a tidbit of poo on your face". ding ding round 2 for penne, hey you guys awake here? I've heard knuckle dragging can be quite bothersome, have you ever wrapping them?

Yes, at times I am a bit of a knuckle-dragger, I do seem to be forever buying new gloves for protection. I am delighted that some people recognise my debilitating condition and deem it necessary to illuminate the fact in full view of the entire forum which benefits me greatly by facilitating my social integration. As my dear old dad used to say “have broad shoulders son” and now because of the many years of unintentional ridicule I am built like two separate gorillas!

I once had to look after two gorillas but they talked too much.

Well that might be so Mr Red White and Blue (rhymes with) you dirty cockatoo and I sincerely apologise for the latter unintentional remark but I was distracted by Nef Yoo’s reference to poo and as a consequence I became ensnared by word endings sounding like “oo” of which you used three too, “to”, “two” and “too”, which on this occasion does not equal six but reminds me of the story of the potty mouthed parrot recently found in Melbourne that talks more than the two separate gorillas remarked above.

Which said, reminds me of the Mynah birds at Waddington Manor, where they have so many American visitors to the aviary that the birds say, in an American accent "what sort is that? what sort is that? what sort is that?" and so on. I won't mention the cockatoo as I might get blamed for too many twos.

And it certainly couldn’t possibly be your fault Griffin even if you did happen to momentarily antagonise the situation by mentioning the pesky bird which you did of course in your usual highbrow patronising way known only too well by us colonial riff-raff who recognise this trait to be the modus operandi of the British and so we forgive and forget gracefully as it were in full knowledge of your valued cultural variance.

It's nice that you know so many words and your ability to use a dictionary must be a great help when you post.

Indeed it is. Your obsession with inserting unnecessary punctuation is quite charming in a worrying way.

Well if it isn’t Cyclops and Darth Vader detailing the virtues of precision spelling and punctuation comma (,) for which I am ever so grateful considering my unedge-a-mercated (where’s the confounded dictionary when you need one) convict-ridden colonial heritage full-stop (.)

At least they were Puritan convicts. They might have been much worse.

Why certainly Griffin, my great-great grandfather and all of his descendants thereafter were renowned for their piety, after all, there was much grovelling on knees and shouting hallelujah to be done to make amends for his “crime”. For the record, GGG John was falsely accused and did not nick the shilling but the family has learned to accept the shame and humiliation of this past miscarriage of justice and we are content and indeed deliriously happy to remain loyal and devout monarchists.

The following letter was written by a nine year old child addressed to the tooth fairy (Ref. Daily Mail 17/12/2014):

"(Not very) Dear T.F.,
This is the second time you've done this. You forgot me. So if you're not going to come then I'm going to keep my own teeth. You are through collecting teeth from J.E. From now on I'm keeping my own teeth.
Unsincerely, J.E.
P.S. Keep collecting from Mike though.
P.P.S. Don't bother writing back"

Any chance we can get J.E. onto this forum?

If he never nicked the shilling, I bet he nicked at least one sheep.

Oh no squire, GGG John didn’t nick any sheep, not even one sir, he was too busy slaving for them lordy lordy gentlemen types and praying his hardest all day Sunday, so never had the opportunity to go nicking sheep your worship. On that terribly embarrassing occasion when GGG John was apprehended by three troopers with a jumbuck in his tucker-bag it was on account of him wanting to knit a lovely jumper for thee master squire. Still if it pleases thee the family is only too happy to polish the vicar's silverware as penance.
