It's the devices that keep your feet on the pedals. There are a few different kinds.

He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.

Essentially they lock you to your bike, they allow you to get power from your pedal when your feet are going up... they are great for general riding... When mountian biking they have a tendancy to bring the back wheel up to your head when you crash like that. Not fun.

Peter Michaud, a public information officer for the Gemini Observatory in Hawaii, took this picture in November 2003 of an unusual cloud formation above the islands. It is called a lenticular cloud, due to its lens-shaped appearance. These clouds are formed by so-called "mountain waves" of air created by strong winds forced over high mountains.

Peace.

Our Pasta, who "Arghh" in heaven, Swallowed be thy shame. Thy Midgit come. Thy Sauce be yum, On top some grated Parmesan. Give us this day our garlic bread. And give us our cutlasses, As we swashbuckle, splice the main-brace and cuss. And lead us into temptation, But deliver us some Pizza. For thine are Meatballs, and the beer, and the strippers, for ever and ever. RAmen.

Of course, Anthrobabe; It's all in the name of informing people about obscure biking doodads.
