Nah, he was thrown.

You guys are really close - there's just a few more pieces to complete the puzzle. So, since I want to go to bed soon, I'll tell you what parts you are still missing:

Why was he thrown out of the Zeppelin?

Why wasn't he identified when he washed up on the beach?

Mad Willyum Bonney wrote:Was he in/on the balloon or the gondola ?
If yes to either, is it relevant ?

In the gondola. Where the people usually ride. Relevant as far as he was riding in a Zeppelin.

Do you mean over something small or frivolous? No.

was this zeppelin high?

after all it couldn't have been to high if he died from drowning like you said.

did his attacker fall/jump out of the plane with him?

if he fell and it was low enough were he wouldn't die the attacker might jump out to drown him seeing as he is a spy and most spies can swim he might've needed help drowning.

Well I was going to ask earlier, but you said he wasn't a soldier. Who would bother to identify a Nazi? He's a Nazi, what else you need to know?

Lets say that the Zeppelin was low enough that he was injured on hitting the water, and so unable to swim, and so drowned. But this is really tangental. He was thrown from a Zeppelin, died and washed up on the beach. That's as much about that part as you need for this puzzle.

Attacker did not fall with him.

Already determined that he was a spy, not a soldier. He was wearing civilian clothes.

You are still missing one large piece of the puzzle. If you can figure out why he was not identified, I will call it won, and hand off the torch.

if you have heard this one before please refrain from speaking.

I make celebrities look stupid and normal people look like celebrities.
I turn pancakes brown and make your champane bubble.

Can you guess the riddle?

97% of Harvard graduates can not answer this riddle, but 84% of kindergarten students were able to figure this out in 6 minutes or less.

I thought we determined that because he was a foreign spy he could not be identified by american government.

Nope - he would have been listed on the passenger manifest of the Zeppelin. Even if it were an assumed name, there would have been some name associated with him.

Not the answer. But clever all the same. You should devise a puzzle sometime where that's part of the solution.
