ok heres my riddle
a plane in world war 2 goes on a bombing run. the plane is in perfect shape and it has bombs in it.
it opens the bombbay doors and the bombs did not fall out.
Why is that?

Assuming that the answer doesn't lie in a grammatical error, it must be because it's still on the ground? or there was a locking mechanism that needs to be disengaged.

Because "bomb bay doors" refer to the door to get from one room in the plane to the bomb room?

no its in the air and its over the area it needs to bomb and the doors open to let the bombs out but the bombs did not come out.
