Did you know that I have forgotten just about everything I learnt at university (relating to my degree anyway).

I just tried working out a simple synthesis I had seen 30 seconds ago and got stuck after two steps in a four step reaction scheme :facewall: I need to do a lot more work.

Did you know they're going to be transporting 150 loads of giant turbine blades right past my house?

I'll try to be here to take some pictures at least a couple of times. It should be interesting watching them try to make the corner at the top of the street.

Those are enormous turbine blades...are they for a wind farm or some sort off giant Sopwith Camel?

Did you know that Satriani and Sammy Hagar are in a band called "Chickenfoot"?

Yeah, they've had ads and videos promoting it at my store for a couple weeks now. I hadn't even heard of the band before that. Now, I know who Sammy Hagar is, and I recognize Joe Satriani's name, but I can't quite place it. I haven't a clue who the other two guys are. Does anyone know if the band's any good?

Did you know that according to my Excel spreadsheet, 111111111 x 111111111 = 12345678987654300?

but according to my excel spreadsheet it is 1.234567+E16 so clearly excel isn't all that reliable.
