May the FSM watch over you. And if He doesn't (or even if He does), know that everyone here is thinking good thoughts.

(Disclaimer - the FSM watching over you is not, was never, and never will be a substitute for evidence-based medicine. There is no way He will help you if you stop taking your meds and rely on Him entirely. He's not that sort of deity, and hopefully you're not that much of a dick.)Rev. What about the possible placebo effect Roy? Also if you take part of one of his tentacles, dilute it a million times....

Re: Did you know?
Thanks matey !
I am better by the day , the side effects from my treatment have been quite tolerable , I have finally stopped crying so much over my ward mates , so many are still there , so many did not return home to their families and never will . This is my 15th night in which I just lie on my back, tired yet very awake , I am uncertain if I have slept at all these past few weeks .
I should not be posting as it is a strain on my good eye but I am so bored lying here . You guys keep my spirit so high that I find it difficult not to login to have a peek.

All the best Will...and try to get some sleep!
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

What about a text to speech converter for him pieces? Not a great choice of voices but DYK the "Scottish Male" sounds a lot like Roy's Stephen Hawking impersonation?

Did you know that if you're cycling in the rain and get a nosebleed you may not realise? This may lead to several miles of wondering why your top lip tastes funny and getting home to find blood smeared all over your face

Re: Did you know?
Try getting hit in the eye by an insect when you're riding a motorbike (and wearing a helmet). The helmet stopped my eye from closing over, but it still swelled up, and then I couldn't get the helmet off. The doc had to give me a steroid injection with the helmet still on...daftbeaker wrote:Did you know that if you're cycling in the rain and get a nosebleed you may not realise? Did you know that if you are cycling and a wasp goes down your T Shirt..you are likely to get stung on the nipple?
To be honest it missed my nipple and got me in the chest.
