I didn't make my first post here.:( No biggie, though. I've lurked for a while and been a Pastafarian for over ten months, so I'm not exactly a new convert.

Slainte All!

Thanks for the (so far) kind words. In reading some of the responses (and rereading the stuff I posted) I see a potential disconnect between intent and perception...so, for the record, please allow me to ramble for a sec (hey, I gotta look this mug in the mirror in the a.m.). I didn't send my letter to the paper, I sent it to the author of the LetEd rant. Primary reasons were:
1. I believe our paper has a 30 day policy between letters publishing guideline.
B. I don't want to over agetate the crazies who might otherwise stay home on election day.
III. Sometimes, finesse and focus are the best path.
Just wanted to clear that up.

Say, what is the path to ordination in my new-found faith? I cherish my copy of 0-8129-7656-8 (or, as I like to think of it, His Noodly Recipe For My Life, Complete With Sauce Suggestions {As Well As Beer Pairings})

With Meatballs,

Joe

It dosn't matter if you sent it, or who you sent it to. Its the intention, the exclent wording, and the good arugments that made me enjoy it. Now that I have seen it, I can use the same statements in my own crusades.

Does Joe speak Gaelic?
True terror lies in the futility of human existence.

Malcolm Reynolds is my co-pilot.

"The only freedom deserving the name, is that of pursuing our own good in our own way, so long as we do not attempt to deprive others of theirs, or impede their efforts to obtain it. Each is the proper guardian of his own health, whether bodily, or mental and spiritual. Mankind are greater gainers by suffering each other to live as seems good to themselves, than by compelling each to live as seems good to the rest." - John Stuart Mill

Unfortunately, just the one word (and Slainte Mhath). I do, however, speak Beer! (Prosit, Cheers, Slainte, etc) See http://www.beer-u.com, a site I'm developing. Feedback, suggestions, ans submissions always welcome!

Welcome SWEVEN - We're glad to have you! Toss your boots under your bunk and get back up on deck - we need you aloft in the rigging!
Christ you know it ain't easy,
You know how hard it can be.
The way things are going
They're gonna crucify me.

Try a little linguini - it's good for a rash. Wanna tell us a little more about yourself? We're a friendly crowd - always ready to welcome the rash stranger...

Hmmm...well, I've been a starch Pastafarian for over a year. I even have a FSM costume in Second Life. People think I'm retarded but when I explain who He is and that He is the Lord of beer volcanoes and stripper factories, they're all over Him like beige on pasta.

I was just wandering the forums and figured I'd better START HERE in case I feel I need to respond to a post.

Thanks for the welcome!

Rash strangers can be considered, imho, as crushed red pepper sprinkled upon one's personal noodly delight. Ultimately, enjoyment of the aforementioned personal noodly delight is, in large part, dependent upon both quantity and variety of said pepper. ymmv.
Welcome, Rash!
