Hello, the names Timmy. I've been following Flying Spaghetti Monsterism since it started out, and I strongly disagree with Intelligent design being taught in science classes. I also like the idea of stripper factories and beer volcanoes in heaven... so I decided to join the forums.

Welcome. You can discuss evolution and ID down in the "Serious" section of the forums, while getting your fill of FSM up top. (And your fill of insanity down at rock bottom.)

Hehe, don't worry. We generally don't ban people unless they're spambots or asshats.

There's a Kansas Pastafarians thread in the gatherings forum, I think. And if there isn't, make one!

Welcome.

I have to say I laughed my ass off when I read about The FSM!

While a lay catholic myself, I agree that such religious topics such as ID and what not have no room in a science class. I am relived that not everyone in Kansas is so blind to reason.

BTW, ya'll have the spiffiest smilies ever :)

Converted!

Actually, I have always believed in the FSM. How else can we explain the existence of Spaghettios? :pirate_fish:

As Pastafarian as I am, I am also an active Christian. But I know that the Lord who created the ingredients for fettucini alfredo and then made it fattening must have a sense of humor.

I'd just like to say this is the most intelligent of inteligent desighns not only for a religeon but for a world view in general. And I'm not just saying that because I'm a Pirate either. Can't wait to see the Beer Volcano.

All hail the Flying Spaghetti Monster!

Anyway, heres a thought:

Hello, all.

I'm a new convert, as of July 7th 2006. I was travelling and staying in a hotel when I first heard of his holiness. When I got home I did some research and it was like a light went on somewhere.

Since then I haven't missed a Friday communion of pasta yet.

FSMism truly is the coolest belief system I've found and the one that sounds most truthful to me.

And I always did enjoy wearing an eyepatch and bandanna over my head...
It all kind of went downhill from there.

Welcome. The pasta is always delicious. Maybe I ought to start offering it on Fridays at school for lunch. Hmm.

Check out the Food section down at the bottom of the forum for fun things to do with your pasta.
