You really need to listen to more good music.

Was Jon not good? Nickelback was iffy, I'll give you that one. Journey was kinda 50/50.
Also, I said et cetera. That was supposed to cover some of those. I don't know the other half.
I do know:
**Led Zeppelin, Beatles, Pink Floyd. The rest I've never heard of. Also, what about Foreigner, or Harry Chapin (he wasn't the greatest at actually writing the songs, but he was great at giving them meaning, unlike the stuff we have today), or Red Hot Chili Peppers (Under the Bridge was great) or . . . eeeerrrrrrggggghhh whatsitcalled?*
Cut me some slack, I wasn't even alive before 1990 (I won't be more specific, for my own privacy, but be aware I shouldn't, according to society's standards, know any of these bands/people). Obviously I'm well cultured. At least I didn't put any rappers or dubstep 'artists' (dubsteppers?) on the 'good' list.

*EDIT: I looked it up, it was Evanescence. They weren't half bad.
**SECOND EDIT: Nevermind, I also know Tommy. Also, as a side note, Val Doonican was pretty catchy, and I liked "The Greatest" by Kenny Rogers. Nice music.

Wotcher and thankyou. I have finished marking tests. It is now 7 minutes past midnight. I am going to bed.

This may be, as my pupils describe it. a 'mad one'. Or possibly not :idiot:

:lol: Now using your time zone and 'wotcher' to track you down . . . :lurk: :lech: :haha: I've got it narrowed down to England so far.
EDIT: Just wondering, what is your approximate latitude?

Nef Yoo, leave now. The adults have business to take care of, if you smell my draft (my version of catch my drift, because my friends aren't good at catching things).

If you really like birthdays that much, you're welcome to a few of mine. I've had too many.

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

How much? I got some wet pennies, a button, pocket lint, a 55 gallon tub of Iube, and a 75-year-old Swiss guy.

With all those accounts, Eric must have more birthdays in a year than Nef Yoo.

Robert Burns, 258 years young today:
The Immortal Bard wrote:Fair fa' your honest, sonsie face,
Great chieftain o the puddin'-race!
Aboon them a' ye tak your place,
Painch, tripe, or thairm:
Weel are ye worthy o' a grace
As lang's my arm.

The groaning trencher there ye fill,
Your hurdies like a distant hill,
Your pin wad help to mend a mill
In time o need,
While thro your pores the dews distil
Like amber bead.

His knife see rustic Labour dight,
An cut you up wi ready slight,
Trenching your gushing entrails bright,
Like onie ditch;
And then, O what a glorious sight,
Warm-reekin, rich!

Then, horn for horn, they stretch an strive:
Deil tak the hindmost, on they drive,
Till a' their weel-swall'd kytes belyve
Are bent like drums;
The auld Guidman, maist like to rive,
'Bethankit' hums.

Is there that owre his French ragout,
Or olio that wad staw a sow,
Or fricassee wad mak her spew
Wi perfect scunner,
Looks down wi sneering, scornfu view
On sic a dinner?

Poor devil! see him owre his trash,
As feckless as a wither'd rash,
His spindle shank a guid whip-lash,
His nieve a nit;
Thro bloody flood or field to dash,
O how unfit!

But mark the Rustic, haggis-fed,
The trembling earth resounds his tread,
Clap in his walie nieve a blade,
He'll make it whissle;
An legs an arms, an heads will sned,
Like taps o thrissle.

Ye Pow'rs, wha mak mankind your care,
And dish them out their bill o fare,
Auld Scotland wants nae skinking ware
That jaups in luggies:
But, if ye wish her gratefu prayer,
Gie her a Haggis
