One of those words is correct. Possibly two.

DTH, have you read Bill Bryson's Down Under? I'd be interested to hear what you thought of it. I loved Notes from a Small Island, which is about Britain.

Yeah, I bought it. It was a great book, and pretty accurate, too. (That Pets 'n Porn shop is real!)Roy Hunter wrote:DTH, have you read Bill Bryson's Down Under? I'd be interested to hear what you thought of it. I loved Notes from a Small Island, which is about Britain.
I haven't had the chance to read Notes From a Small Island yet, but I'll have to find it somewhere. Unfortunately, I let a friend borrow Down Under and A Walk in the Woods (a dual-book thing, like a collection of short stories) but I haven't gotten them back yet. Both had me laughing all night. He's definitely one of my favourite authors.

Spent a week on Isle Royale ten years ago or so - got rained on a lot. We'd taken "A Walk in the Woods", took turns reading it out loud, about laughed ourselves sick.

Yes, there's a good chance that that is exactly what he is cooking.
