Oh Sir Cliff, I do love his little ditties. He makes me want to dance...ball room style of course.

I don't mind a bit of that pirate two-step. The only thing those dreadful ruffians ever did right was invent a dance that even the most uncoordinated of chaps could learn.

Ah yes indeed detective, I believe the seven seas were once awash with ruffians and buccaneers. An uncouth time of yesteryear when one was not even safe in the channel. My Great Great Great Aunt Theresa was ravished by Pirates whilst on a day trip to France...she was ravished on the way to Boulogne and ravished on the way back...if only she hadn't booked her passage on the ship of Mad Jack Shaggemsenseless McGimble in the first place. :?
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

Oh I do say, Miss Pieces, I think that tongue of yours needs a good scrubbing for your abysmal use of the English language just now. I dare say, girl, speak proper English or we'll call the constabulary.

My word.

Dear me you are quite right detective, what a rabble. Even the stable manure scraper boy speaks the queen's english better than that. Why only the other day I'm sure I heard him quoting from Shakespeare..."Blimey" he said, "I'm so covered in horse shit I look like a Richard the Third!"

Eh, what? I say, I must have been channeling my Great Great Great Aunt Pieces of Four, there. 'Tis a fit which comes upon me when I am fatigued past all describing. I do apologize gentlemen. Pray excuse my linguistic faux pas, and do pass the port round again.

Indeed, I will take just another sip, BUUUURRRRRRP, ew, I say, pardonez moi!

Talkin of old relatives brings to mind my Old Uncle Podger, the Fourth Earl of Shitlingthorpe.

I really don't know why the family ended up in Shitlingthorpe...perhaps it was something to do with the South Sea Bubble.

Well, I don't know about that, but can you hear the ruckus coming from down the docks? One would believe that the riff-raff are hurling television characters at each other! Quite barbaric!

And those Boobahs let off the most awful odour. Why, a man can't take a stroll down to his favourite waterside brothel without being hit by that unrelenting wave of stink!

I think I need a snifter of port, my good Bartholomew. What? You drank it all? Jeeves, go fetch us another barrel, would you?

Ah, that's better...The water in Majorca, don't taste like wot it oughta...no, no, no...more Bolly Jeeves!

Gentlemen, gentlemen, put away your inferior potables. I have just received an ... erm ... shipment ... of Rémy Martin Cognac. Please join me on the veranda for a glass all around.

By the by, Detective Turtleholmes, you referred to me as both "Miss Pieces" and "good chap" earlier. "Miss" would be preferable, thank you ever so kindly, my good man.

Ah, Miss Pieces, you are quite right. It doesn't seem that long ago when your effervescent picture had quite the facial hair, if you don't mind me saying.

Now, the verandah is up, I do believe. Jeeves, make sure you hold me up, for I fear this slight tipsyness might just send me over the edge!
