Ahoy fellow Pastafarians!
For those of you who have read the Gospel by now, you will have come across some of the fine work put out by the Enlightenment Institute. I am the lead author of the study entitled "Piracy as a Preventor of Tropical Cyclones", and will be giving a special seminar on this work next week.

Those in the State College area are encouraged to attend this special event (of course, everyone else is welcome too...but I don't expect many special trips to State College on a Tuesday).

I gave my talk this afternoon. It was well-attended (~30-40 people, mostly graduate students, but a few professors as well), and the audience asked some good questions. We had planned to videotape it, but unfortunately the videographer ran out of tape before the seminar was over. I'll have to take a look at it and see how much we got.
In any case, here's a link to my slides:

For those of use that will not be able to attend, like me down here in the swamp, will there be an audio recording so we can listen anyway?

Sorry, the video ran out of tape half way through and there was no additional audio recording. The slides are posted above, though.
