Hahah, frolick

This is how I visualize a new member coming into a forum:

They either take the route of ACTUALLY reading the 'Read me first' post and meeting everyone

or

They can die a horrible post-flaming death at the hands of more skilled members on the forums.

I have recently seen the light and have converted to the church of the flying spaghetti monster. This is truly a great day that I have discovered the one true religion. :)

Old member checking in

Postby Noode » Thu Jul 27, 2006 1:19 pm

OK, I joined a while ago, well before this topic was started, but I thought it would be nice to check in and say "hi".

Hi!

And while I have not been very active in these fora, I have been promoting FSMism a little and have converted at least 4 people so far, most recently: my boss. He now has a picture of His Noodliness posted on his door. I have a piratefish picture posted in my cube. We get occasional questions about these images. We direct inquiries to the main website. Sometimes we don't hear about it again, other times the person who inquired will come back to share their joy.

Noodly blessings to all!

Back to your regular programming.

Hey Auntie Dee Dee,

Yep, almost a year! It doesn't seem that long, but I've been keeping busy with life and things. Also, I've been running a lot more (so I can eat more pasta!) and lacking on time.

The avatar was the smallest pic I had available on my machine, I may change it in the not-too-distant future, but I like critturs, too.

haxmasta, one cannot force enlightenment, acceptance can be a gradual process. A sense of humor also helps

Hi all

Postby Rip187 » Thu Jul 27, 2006 10:09 pm

I recently joined into the forums, but have been a longtime Pastafarian.... I have been keyping an eye from a far and just noticed the forums here. I have seen a few posts asking about our fearless prophet, and I wonder myself too. But may he in all noodleness take care of him and remind him where he came from...

If you have time I would also like access to the other fun places too please.

Roll on saucemates!!!!!! :fsm_rock: :fsm_yarr:

I'm sure our prophet is fine and being well taken care of.

Other fun places? Why, every place is fun! (Yeah, right away. Just follow the instructions in their red text.)

Welcome!

Hi! I'm a new convert to FSMism (having only discovered it a few days ago...) but I have to say that I'm very glad I found it. Oh and the Paperback Gospel is excellent too.

Welcome! Check out the Languages forum - I think there's a Dutch thread there.
