What Was The Funniest Spoof Movie Of All Time?
In this thread, discuss your favourite spoof movies. My favourite is Scary Movie 1. Then Meet The Spartans. It hasn't come out here in AUS yet, but I watched it on a friend's PC.

So yeah, I went and got a blog.

Oh sure, spaceballs was good, but it has nothing on Scary Movie 1 and Meet the Spartans. Just wait till you see it. It has Carmen Elektra.

Spoof
Blazing Saddles was pretty good and I love Galaxy Quest:

The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

Sure if you need dumb pop culture reference comedy rather than timeless badassed Mel Brooks comedy.
And boobs don't add anything to a movie's comedy worth.

If there was anyone who doesn't like dumb pop culture reference, it's me. But these are funny because of the creator's choice of movie and the way they portray the characters.
For example: The spartans are portrayed as homosexuals, because of the general lack of clothing they wear.
There's also that youtube guy who cried about leaving Britney Spears alone on there.
I never said I didn't like spaceballs. I think it's rather good. I laughed quite a bit when I first saw it.

I wish I could submit the SNL Celebrity Jeopardy skits in the movie category.
Since I can't, It's tough between Blazing Saddles and Airplane.

I believe it's time for mankind to set aside the crutch of religion and embrace morality born of reason and truth. Those crutches have long since proven treacherous when the ground gets slippery.

Any Mel Brooks feature, not limited to Spaceballs. History of the World was badass. I also liked Blazing Saddles and Robin Hood: Men in Tights. I could not breathe during some of the time, and the rest of the time, my laughter drowned out the dialog. And they were still pure genius.
Other than that, there's also Austin Powers, Airplane, and the priceless Naked Gun series.

I hope you're on the recieving end of an improbability equation wherein something happens to you that's as unlikely as Rob Schneider winning a best actor Oscar on the same day Michael Jackson single handedly captures Osama Bin Laden. ~ Rainswept
