True as far as it goes, but I'm a big movie fan and if those movies are on the same level as Seven Samurai, it's unusual that I've never heard of them.
You never saw those movies and you call yourself a movie fan ?
For Shame !
Anyhow, Kurosawa and Hitchcock are so different and awesome I would no know how to compare them.
But I DO know that I'd rather watch a Kurosawa film than a Hitchcock one if I had to make a choice.
What I want to watch now is Kumonosu jô (aka Throne of Blood, aka Macbeth). Toshirô Mifune is so brilliant in that film.
