Re: FSM movie
Well my first vote would have been for Orson Welles I think he would be great in that, but since he is dead I'm going to have to vote for James Earl Jones.

Oooo...James Earl Jones is a good one. His laugh is great. And his voice is just a tad deeper then Morgan Freeman's. What about Hulk Hogan.....the voice is there, if only he wasn't so spun up all the time.

I never really noticed a mouth visible on His Noodly Visage. I imagine that the voice would have to be something like Kenny in South Park.

It needs a script, and I think you are the man for the job. Because you are the one with the weed all over your avatar.

I’m envisioning an epic action/adventure where our hero, the first man/’midgit’ goes on a quest to find the beer volcanoes and strippers of the promised land.
Of course, he would have to be a metaphorical midget.

Best suggestion yet *grin*...
come on boys, think outside the box!
A big powerful booming male voice for s/he who says (to paraphrase) 'yeh sure worship other gods, what do I care, how vain do you think I am?' etc .... no way!
Different image, different voice, no? *grin*

Re: FSM movie
As a new member to this site I would be greatly interested to watch any movies out there about FSM. Could someone post some links? I'm sure there has to be some Flash movies or something out there of some quality.

Father, we are not an organized group of people. I myself have only joined these discussions three months ago.
While some have been lucky enough to find fellow Pastafarians in their hometowns and have formed communities of their own, I am aware of only what has been posted on the main site: http://www.venganza.org/

I wouldn't say quality, but you will find a bunch of youtube videos on the FSM. Start here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlxmwvWekZA&NR=1
And here is an FSM flash game: http://www.venganza.org/games/index_large.htm

Thanks for the links. I tried the game and it took me forever to figure out that you could move up and down as well and right to left. I eventually saw the shadow beneath the monster.
I'm not what the kids would call "l33t" at games.
I don't know what I just wrote means.

Back to the voice casting:
Our beloved FSM (pesto be upon him), in my understanding, has a great sense of humor, is usually drunk, and none too bright. So I envision a voice more like Owen Wilson. Kind of a goofy slacker voice.
Or, (to use an actor with a visual resemblance to the FSM), how about Whoopi Goldberg? Just imagine the "Eight I'd Really Rather You Didn'ts" in her voice. That would rock.
