Types of Ramen
Just wondering...who likes Top Ramen and who likes Maruchin Ramen? I prefer Maruchin because they have Oriental flavor. Good stuff.
Re: Types of Ramen
Personally I like them both.

I like whichever one is cheaper at the moment.

I always eat Maruchan, simply because my grocery store doesn't carry Top. Cup of noodles is another good ramen type food.

Maruchan. They're the best, forever.
Kaylee: Wash, tell me I'm pretty.
Wash: If I were unwed, I would take you up in a manly fashion.
Kaylee: 'Cause I'm pretty?
Wash: 'Cause your pretty.

And I'm putting my heart out on display
There's no masquerade
Just a funeral march for love today
The band strikes up and they're playing a song
Dressed in black, and we're singing along to the
Broken hearts parade
I've never been better then I am today

Re: Types of Ramen
At this point, it's devolved to whichever is cheapest because me part time job isn't giving me any hours and I'm having the worst time finding a full time job. Just goes to show you don't have to be a college student to live on ramen.

Re: Types of Ramen
Top Ramen recipes needed.
The Ramen Burger -Ramen Pizza- Ramen Tacos- Top Ramen burrito
All of these have been tried (and failed) at some restaurants. Considering we have Asian, Pork, Shrimp, Beef, Veg and Chicken Top Ramen I would expect more recipes either from the Asian Industrial heartland or from consumers.
Asian: Ramen with Kim Chee
American: Reheated spaghetti with Ramen and marinara sauce. RAMEN with TUNA!!! ARGH -- add some Velveeta.
European: Ramen with pork and pickles or horseradish. Or Czech cabbage soup! [url] http://sweetgeodes.com/senft/?page_id=628/url].
Mediterranean Ramen. Beef Ramen with a can of black olives.
Seafood: My own would be Calamari Ramen with some blobs of Mozzarella. Some sliced Peppers would be nice.
Vegetarian. Throw in some black beans and call the kids to dinner.

The Ramen Burger
The Instructables site has a ramen burger recipe of sorts - using cooked instant ramen formed into pucks instead of a bun. Not tried it (yet) but an interesting take on using a different form of carb, and might work if you have a friend who has taken it into their heads that yeast is bad (yes I do)

Presumably you could use ramen instead of rice in burritos if one were inclined - especially if you broke it up a little first.

Having tea are we? Check out this video first. One of my favorite adds ever. You need to activate Adobe Flash to watch it.

BTW, I also suggest people use 'ghostery' a plug in for Firefox to prevent search engines from following your night time voyages. It also blocked the Adobe Flash, and I had to hit 'allow.' The option is 'once' or always. I prefer to block ALL of the snooping sites and give allowances when I need them. Disquis is the only site I opened up permanently.
From my own recipe site "uncatagorized." http://sweetgeodes.com/senft/?page_id=1002
Working hard to create a good opening page for what was a genealogy site and has become more of a recipe site with commentaries.
