Yes... who indeed...
A flap of the wings yesterday means big changes tomorrow.
Let's work together to keep the present inevitable.
So yeah, I went and got a blog.

Neat! Already two Brooklynites. Maybe I'll pick my doctoral program based off of piratical distribution.

I had clicked edit... I tried it again today, and it worked fine though. Odd. Ah well. Thanks for offering to do it for me, though! I appreciate it.

Kinda makes you feel important huh?
Wow! Zankou is so damn close to the US that I almost feel bad about all those Canadian jokes.
Did anyone else know that Detroit was so fricking close to Canada? Has it always been that way? Did those sneaky Cannucks steal some of our land when we weren't looking? Surely there can't actually be parts of Canada that are further south than places in the US. That makes no sense.

Are you serious? Like, seriously serious?

He's serially serious, Zank... and, as long as we're talking about where you live, Ontario is weird! You have so much space, and yet you all live down in the little bitty space in the very south. It's like you're trying to merge with the States!Zankou 2.0 wrote:Are you serious? Like, seriously serious?

This is the coolest.
I vote make it sticky. My pointer is in the back yard area of everyone's house on our little block (the only place that qualifies as a "block" in town). If you landed there in a hot air balloon, probably part of the shadow of the balloon would be on my driveway.
Hi, Elvalia! I can see your pointer from my pointer!
Erm, yeah.

English isn't much of a language for swearing. When I studied Ancient Greek I was delighted to discover a single word - Rhaphanidosthai - which translates roughly as "Be thou thrust up the fundament with a radish for adultery."

It boggles my mind as well. Try thinking about that, and the fact that the magnetic poles of the earth move, and have both of those thoughts in your brain at the same time, and see how long it takes you to pass out from exhaustion.

Well kinda. At least for the Detroit thing. We've got this nice straight line thing going out west, but then you get to the great lakes and it gets all screwey.
What is that area east of Wisconsin? It is south of the Canadian border, but not a part of Wisconsin. WTF?
