welcome, pastafarians to Bloomington, Indiana - home of Indiana University, 36,000 students and me, near by.
I put the tear drop by The Bake House because more likely to find me there (or the 'Spoon'*) good coffee and wonderous cookies. Walk the little yellow person around the square and you will find other places I frequent - the Trojan Horse, Roots, Athena's. Go down to 412 E 6th St. and that actually could be me and a friend sitting at the tables in front of The Runcible Spoon* - the best food and coffee in a town with hundreds of restaurants. More importantly it is owned by the nicest transplanted Irish guy - Matt O' Neill. He does not mind if I hang out for hours working or playing over a cup of mocha (
http://www.runciblespoonrestaurant.com/owner.html - in description I am one of the "eclectic clientele" regulars). Tuesday nights come to the Irish session - often Grey (Larsen) is in the group playing - world reknown (no joke -
http://greylarsen.com/) flutist, fiddler, concertinier and all around stand up guy. If you play join in.
So much more to B-town - which I love.
