I have a couple of dresses from that catalog, including a really wonderful purple velvet one with dragons on it. I've been on their mailing list for years. I'll vouch for them - and they've got lots of gear that has great pirate potential.

So, why don't you ever wear it?

Hmmmm. It turns out that airing real life personal grievances on the internet is really entertaining.

Hmmm. It also turns out that reminding someone that they’re posting in a public forum quickly squashes said entertainment.
Oh well, time to invent dialog for the Ubi clan.
Now, what would Ubi Dubium say at this point?

After perusing some of Ubi Dubius' recent posts I'm reminded that I haven't apologized to my wife lately for being sexist, chauvanist, insensitive, and just generally thoughtless and oblivious.

I shall just have to drool over the pictures…

With short, wide feet nothing that high in the heel and narrow in the toe will ever fit me and even if I could pull a pair on I would be quite incapable of actually walking in them.

Back to the fishermen's wellies for me!

Re: Pirate Queen Coverings
Not just female pirates though, I've gotten multiple poofy shirts, boots, and a most excellent nautical great coat from the pyramid collection.
I suppose this is as good a place as any to plug where I get my hats, too.
http://www.captjackspiratehats.com/ Has an excellent range of piratical hats. They can be kind of pricy, but are very high quality. I highly recommend getting the treatments if you plan on having it be a daily (or weekly) hat, to be worn in any weather. If it's just for ceremonies and such, and would be kept more carefully for the most part, It's probably something you can skip.
