Eddie Izzard
Eddie Izzard is a British comedian that I've been watching on Youtube lately. I just thought that you guys might find find it funny.
He's pretty hilarious, especially his Cake or Death sketch. I could provide links to the original videos, but I think the lego versions are funnier.
Without further ado:
Death Star Canteen
Cake Or Death
The Moon Landings
Do You Have A Flag?
There are plenty more, but I'll let you find them on your own.
Enjoy!

Re: Eddie Izzard
I've loved Eddie's standup for years. Then he got cast in The Riches on Showtime here in the US.
He went from being this wacky British pseudo transvestite to being a straight up normal guy with a beard, a gut, and an American accent. The transition was weird, but he's great in that as well.

Yeah, The Riches is pretty good when I catch it. Eddie's total class.

Dress To Kill is a work of comic genius. Glorious and Definite Article are awesome as well. Not so sure about Sexie, will have to watch it again.
This bit is possibly the best of Eddie's best and I cried with laughter the first time I saw it (especially St Bastard
)
The Pope - "You crazy bugger, you can't do all this. What have you been reading, the Gospel According to St. Bastard?"
Henry VIII (who was Sean Connery for this film) - "I will set up a new religion in this country. I will call it, uh, the PSYCHOTIC BASTARD RELIGION!"
Advisor - "How about 'Church of England'?"
Henry - "Church of England, much better."
The Protestant faith started, well around the same time with Martin Luther who pinned a note to a church door saying "Hang on a minute!" only in German, so "Ein minuten bitte. Ich habe einen kleinen problemo avec dese religiones." He was from everywhere.
God (who was James Mason) - Jesus Christ! What on earth is that?
Jesus - Don't take my name in vain Dad!
God - Jeezy Creezy! What on earth is that?
Holy Ghost - Whooooo! Whooooo! Holy Ghost! Whooooo!
God - Holy Ghost, this is not an episode of Scooby Doo.

Yeah Izzard is one of the best. Have you seen the film 'Mystery Men' in which Izzard plays Tony P and his Disco Boys?
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.

Re: Eddie Izzard
Eddie has been top man here in England for many years but his last venture seemed to lack something.
He is a straight transvestite. He digs girls but likes to dress as one. I can't even begin to understand that but he doesn't give a shit and rightly so.
At his best he is a genius.

His look definitely adds to his act. It makes him a whole lot funnier.zinc alloy wrote:Eddie has been top man here in England for many years but his last venture seemed to lack something.

Action transvestite, not Weirdo transvestite. Bit of a crowbar separation there.

Which one was the Circle special? Was that the one with the French stand-up? My personal favourite is the trailer on Glorious (Lust For Glorious? Something like that.) for 2 reasons, the Bon Jovi-esque "I want to live 'til I die. No more, no less." and the soundtrack is Filmstar by Suede.

Re: Eddie Izzard
Sorry, I'm very confused now. By Circle special are you referring to the live show, the dvd with the extras or the extras themselves?

daft, I hope that helps...
If not, just shake it off and go on to another post, ok?
