Church of the FSM is a registered religion organization?

Hi everyone!!!

A lot of people do not believe that the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster is a registered religion organization. Were can I find the official registration number? or any other information about the registration of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster.

I personally was not aware a religion needed to be registered with some central authority for it to be recognised. Belief in His Noodliness the Flying Spaghetti Monster isn't based on the existence or not of a piece of paper or a registration number.

As far as I know, registration is only necessary for those religions that wish to become treated as charities (for tax purposes, probably).

I searched IRS Publication 78, the list of charitable organizations for the US. No organization with the words "spaghetti" or "pastarian" is listed. There are several with "flying" and several with "monster", though.

I read somewere that before writing the Letter To Kansas School Board Bobby Henderson registrated the religion of the FSM.

Perhaps he/she meant as a tax-exempt organization in the US? I think many churches do that. Then again, I'm no expert.
