I have a sig, and I'm not an admin!
It seems to be an intermittent problem, and I have no idea what causes some people to be sigged and others not, but it's not something as simple as member rank.

I'm quite sure the signature issue can be related to astrological influences. There is probably a holistic cure for those of us who are currently signature-impaired. Daftbeaker will be along with it shortly.
What about cuttlefish? And spiders? And that mysterious almost-invisible many-tentacled alien life form I saw in my yard about fifteen years ago?

No. No. No.
We must stick with the number eight.
Hmmm, by the way, how many limbs does the FSM have?
I've never counted. If it's more than eight or less than, this whole post is pointless.
Sorry Lord Potato.

its not how many legs the octopus and fsm have its the fact that they look alot alike. fsm can have as many appendages as he wants. theres always squid too.

Re: octopus = holy animal?
I know what's happened to our signatures! They're now homeopathic. They've been diluted to make them stronger.
I've always assumed that the noodly appendages are just numerous enough to be effectively uncountable. S/He'd never hold them still for long enough to get a good count. However many you counted, there would always be a few more than that.
Still, cephalopods are special animals, both to Pharyngulites and followers of Tarvu. I already thought dead fish were a holy animal. And also cows, but only when finely ground and seasoned with oregano.

I always just say there's an infinite amount of appendages.
But 8's close enough, you just sort of have to cock your head to the side.
