Yes, yes. Local lingo and all. Do you think that i'd get any funny looks if i told a class full of students that i "need to put on my rubbers and go out for some fags"?

Round here it would be perfectly acceptable behaviour for someone to say "I'll slip me thongs on and go out for a fag".
Although they'd be more likely to say "for a smoko".
Rubbers? Where I've lived those are the things that are used for 'rubbing out' mistakes! Unless you are a fisherman, in which case your sentence stands. Although you would confuse said students unless it had been raining really hard.

Back when I worked in an intenet cafe, a South African guy came up to the counter and said he needed a stiffie. I had to tell him that in Scotland we referred to such things as floppies (here's a - SFW).

I learned from a roommate in the '90's that asking someone from Tennessee if they "want a pop" is the same thing as saying "Would you like some gay sex?"...

Dude, those kids are hilarious.
"Wow, it's really dark in here."
"I know
"
I wouldn't worry about this one too much, Ham. He's like, 8 or 10. I gaurantee he'll hate himself for having posted those videos in less than a decade, and he'll probably remove them. At least, I would. :P
Your reaction may have been a bit harsh, considering the kids age. Just calmly correct him, and all that. He clearly has the gospel (or his parents do), so simply use that as your reference.
EDIT: Also, that kid sounds frightening a lot like Sid from Toy Story.

*sigh* I s'pose you're right. It was quite a bit of an overreaction. Internet Anonymity makes me do that sometimes.

Careful, you're not as anonymous as you might suppose. Especially if you use the same or similar user names around the web, and if those names are associated with certain more public organizations. Not that FSM is a public organization, per se.

There's nothing wrong with one more religion. Especially one that was invented for another reason than policing poeple. Out with the rulebooks, in with the logic:
We are humans and more alike than different.
We humans tend to form groups even nations to protect ourselves from those thinking differently.
We should not fight the other groups with words, weapons and religious wisdom/philosophy.
We should come to an agreement for making a shared rulebook with rules that make sense for all of us.
Then we can write newspapers/magazines/books, make movies, produce TV without being offensive.
Then we can live together without killing each other.
Then we can live together without killing our planet.
I'm so sorry for sharing my dreams with you.
