Interpretation of Monster

I interpret monster to mean either a traditional monster or a deity. What are your interpretations?

I look on a monster as something monstrous, as in being of enormous size, and unnatural in appearance, especially when used in conjunction with the FSM. I would also use the word monstrous with the definition of grotesque, but never with the FSM, as He isn't grotesque. He's pastalicious.
