New FSM Homepage

Postby arrrrrrrrrgh » Fri Mar 16, 2012 10:56 pm

Hi everyone,
I have been working on a FSM homepage for my web design course for a few weeks now and it is finally ready! I hope it brings as much fun to the visitors than it was for me to make it.

Navigate through the treasure map and try to find the hidden links to be enlightened by this unique religion... :)

Enjoy, arrrrrrrrrgh :fsm_float:

That's really cool. How long did it take you to make it? I'm loving the visual style. Do you plan to expand upon it in the future, or is what you have there sufficient for your project? I particularly like the stripper factory and beer volcano. They are my second homes. :haha:

And I found the four secret places! :drinking:

Thank you, I'm glad you guys like it.
@roland - all in all including research and development I would say I spend about 5-6 weeks on it. I had known about the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, but not in enough detail to actually illustrate the full site without starting to read up on it on the web and in The Gospel.
I would have loved to include more scenes, but I just didn't have any more time left. However, I would love to keep working on the page when I find the time, if I get enough feedback of material that believers would like to see included. Do you have a favorite story?
I am wide open for suggestions... let's see if we can get a list going :haha:

Excellent...I wish it was a treasure hunt game.
The smoke wafted gently in the breeze across the poop deck and all seemed right in the world.
