Ashley's been sending me to YouTube to listen to Scissor Sisters. She says they're becoming one of her favorite bands, and she's going to lend me one of their albums. From what I've heard they're pretty good.

A friend also recommended a band called Noisettes, and I watched one of their music videos, "Never Forget You", which was good.

The Offspring - Days Go By. I'm really looking forward to the new album, this sounds really promising.

The Sex Pirates. They are a local band and have a new album out called: "Never mind the Rollocks"

Psychedelic rock, really really loudly. I put it on loud enough to hear through my shower, and then when I got out I never lowered it while I shaved and got dressed. Owww.

I've been listening to brony music. Some songs are better than others, most are corny. It's nothing I would add to my collection, but my friends are always raving about AcousticBrony and MandoPony and their collaborations, so I decided to see what it was all about.

An acquaintance playing at a pub. Not great. Way too heavy on the bass through the mixer, can't hardly hear the mids and highs. Covering old Beatles tunes and the like. Meh.

Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover
David Bowie - The Laughing Gnome
David Bowie - Requiem For A Laughing Gnome
Dropkick Murphys - Nut Rocker
Chris Leutwyler - Snowy (on a loop!)
Richard Jacques - Green Grove Act 2

I'm trying to listen to blisteringly happy music on the recommendation of my psychotherapist, to keep me from drowning my profound, nonsensical bipolar depression in food, which I guess I'm doing anyway. Unfortunately my collection of blisteringly happy music is limited. Hopefully it will at least last long enough for my favorite chat room to start working again and for my friends to come in and talk to me.

I'm getting irritated with all the blistering now. Time for lunch, I guess.

A pair of hairy woodpeckers (Picoides villosus) chattering to each other about how best to access the suet feeder outside my kitchen window.
