Re: NEWBIE PIRATES START HERE
Dear Aunty Blackbeard
I be having oh so many questions, but to begin at a point:
I be recallin' the olde seafaring wisdom that ye nivver allow thee wimmin aboard thee ship, on account of theirrr delicate and sensertive nayture - but these here are moderrrn tymes, and do yee now think thee wimmin can strike as fearful a pirate figure as any o' these here manly specimens?
I can't help noticing that Madame Fifi seems to run a house of ill repute, but what I be wondering is, is her house in fact a house of good repute? A bad Madam sets a bad tone I'm sure yee know well...
And who in the blue blazes is this Knuckles O'Shuffle personage? Be he friend or foe? Good-hearted ruffian or scurvy blaggard? Do I need ta keep me brace o' pistols handy?
Ye arrrre a kind Aunty to be answering allll these questions, and when I have thunk some more out I hope I can seek ye out agin ta make matters ever so much more clearer fer me.

Aye lad, Portsmouth can be a little confusin' at first. The places and the cast o' characters come an' go, but some o' the main ones be
Madame Fifi's: Ye olde Knockin' Shop
The Admiral Benbow: Ye olde drinkin' establishment.
Mayor Borat Jonestown: Mayor o' Portsmouth, and serial kidnapping victim.
Big Ron: Owns the butcher's shop an' suffers from terrible flatulence
Knuckles O'Shuffle: Friend or foe? Not sure really. Tends to keep 'imself to 'imself -- likes to work single handed, if ye gets me drift.
Big Brenda: the best known o' Madame Fifi's girls. Here be a link to a pitcher: http://www.venganza.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2776&start=225
Cap'n Cronan: the most feared pirate o' the seven seas. The main reason 'ees feared is that any ship 'ee be aboard is bound t' sink. 'ees always spoken of in hushed tones. I's never sure if 'ee be alive, dead or summit else.
Plank (aka Capt Walktheplank): A former poster 'oo is famed fer writin' the most interminably borin' tales, an' fer wearin' a wig.
I be sure to 'ave fergotten some, but these'll get ye off to a good start.
