There are two ways to play this, either you do what they want or what they ask for.
If you do the former, you try and get past the words they're using (pretty sure the project lady meant intersecting, not perpendicular).
If you do the latter, you go "well, I COULD draw 7 perpendicular lines, but I'd need 7 dimensional paper" and simply pass on the impossible requirement bucket.
It is a bit sad, really, because project management is a really important job that is far from trivial. The problem is how far you can get by just appearing to do the job and let everybody else pick up the pieces.
